What is the difference between Joy de Voyage™ and jo•vage®?

Joy de Voyage comprises Joy’s online Shop as well as Blog and Lifestyle publications. jo•vage pertains to her exclusive luxury travel agency services. Both are part of Joy de Voyage, LLC — a woman and veteran owned and operated small business. The company is licensed, insured, and our travel agency is accredited to highest standard.

What sets jo•vage® apart from other luxury travel planning services?

Joy is your premier travel designer. At jo•vage she focuses on European itineraries but also specializes in other regions and can also accommodate global interests. What sets her apart is her first-hand regional (including cultural, linguistic, and historical) expertise, which lends itself to her specialization in luxury and crafting curated French-inspired escapes, honeymoons, and signature highly customized retreats per each client’s unique vision — serving a variety of price ranges. The agency also ensures any mobility, dietary, or other such elements or restrictions are accounted for and factored into clients’ travel design.

As a spécialiste in France (having lived and studied in Provence, Côte d'Azur and Champagne), she speaks proficient French as well as German (having studied in Vienna and Germany), lived over a decade in Europe and has 19 years’ international travel experience. Joy has also traveled to 60 international countries and territories (as listed here).

Is jo•vage® accredited? What are the agency’s professional credentials?

jo•vage is accredited with the prestigious International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN), and founder Joy Nguyen is an American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) member. Joy has also completed ASTA’s required Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) courses and was awarded IATA’s Foundation in Travel and Tourism Diploma certificate in 2025. Learn more in our Disclaimer.

What is the fee structure for jo•vage® travel planning services?

jo•vage is currently a fee-based business. You are paying for our expertise and personalization of your specific trip. A $50 (1 hour) initial consult fee will be charged, and then you will select which itinerary design option you prefer. The itinerary pricing ranges from $75-150 per hour based on three different travel design options. For more details Contact us for any specific questions or for our pricing details. (Unless of course you elect to purchase a specific expert travel consultation with us (available in our Shop) or purchase curated pre-established jo•vage itinerary — which the latter will be provided to you via a link, available for 24 hours, upon processing of your purchase.)

Is AI used by Joy?

No. Joy does not employ AI in any capacity for her work: namely her writing (all of which is created exclusively by Joy), product designs (including her prints, apparel and travel itineraries, etc). As we deeply value the human element and connection, we opt for this same authenticity in terms of our products and services across Joy de Voyage and jo•vage.

Does Joy receive any commission, sponsorship, or payment for hotels or brands listed?

Joy de Voyage does not currently receive any commission, sponsorship, or payment for any of the hotels, brands, or any organizations or products listed under Joy de Voyage on this the website. However, as a travel agency jo•vage is eligible to receive commissions on certain products, including generally through our preferred partners such as select Destination Management Companies (DMCs) as well as the preferred hotels/etc that jo•vage partners with. jo•vage also is a member of two affiliate programs. By using the links to our preferred tour operator and partner, Context Travel, as well as Get Your Guide, to book tours will result in a commission to jo•vage — which we greatly appreciate!

Of note, however, jo•vage first and foremost prioritizes our clients and ceaselessly works to realize their unique dream. Therefore, jo•vage will always recommend the travel suppliers that may befit their dream (and price range) best — even if it means we forego a commission from our preferred partners.

In case of questions from our clients, we are happy to discuss this with them. (Additionally jo•vage designs and recommends travel accommodations and excursions based on the clients’ interests, NOT on where a commission for us might be available. There are times jo•vage will not receive a commission as the best fit for the client did not offer that.)

Which markets does Joy de Voyage and jo•vage® serve?

Originally from Oklahoma and now based in Georgia, Joy caters to the these states and specifically the Oklahoma City and Atlanta communities. Her travel services are available to most states and locations in the US; however, there are some exceptions. Please refer to the jo•vage Disclaimer for a list of locations not currently served.

Joy hopes to expand her travel services to additional markets, but it is currently only available within the United States as stipulated.
