Alerte : ETIAS Indefinite Delay

Bonjour all!

As mentioned in our monthly newsletter last week, the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) has been delayed indefinitely. As the new visa-exempt traveler authorization (pertaining to 30 European countries), ETIAS was initially slated to be implemented in the European Union the last quarter of this year. We will be sure to keep our newsletter subscribers as well as those who frequent our Blog apprised of when ETIAS might be rescheduled and become operational. Of note, the Entry/Exit System (EES) was fully implemented earlier this year. You can learn more about the EES (and ETIAS) at our original post here.

ETIAS is currently not in operation and no applications for travel authorisations are collected at this point. The European Union will inform about the specific date for the start of ETIAS several months prior to its launch.“

As always bon voyage and bisous !
